Olga came into the industry with a vision of change. She tired of looking through magazines and only seeing 'Straight' size models and the plus models that were representing in print are usually a size 12/14; the biggest being used from time to time is 16/18 at times 18/20. As much as she supports these plus size models and designers she was also left with a void.
Who is going to represent for the 'Bigger' girls, or the plus size women that wear over a size 20? There was no one ; this is when she decided to make her entrance in the plus size world. This Colombian beauty is creative , stylish, and bold. Olga wasn't going to be satisfied until she started seeing plus size women in print that wore the larger sizes.
A year to the anniversary of her start in the industry she was interviewed by James Haque of the Hudson Reporter, titled 'Big Girl' and her face and story was right on the front page. Her print work can be found in giant magazines Marie Claire, Figure, All You (walmart mag), and Bust. She is also in the foreword section of the 'Only' bridal guide for plus size women, written by author Ms. Chamein Canton, 'Down that aisle in Style'.
As any versatile model, the acting bug has tickled her fancy. She was privileged to have met and worked with her favorite actress Nicole Kidman in the movie 'The Interpreter'. Olga can also be seen in the music hit single 'Love' by the very talented artist Matt White. Cinematherapy the very famous 'Hollywood' movie review show hosted by celebrity Chuck Nice recently invited her over and the show will air on Sept. 4th.
She has a huge following, her fans and supporters have come in union to the same conclusion, that plus size women are here to stay and while they are here, they need to be respected and appreciated by society and the media. When she is not making a statement with her recent 'Photo shoots' you can find her making her voice heard through her writing.
