Born in Jersey City, NJ, Olga grew up as the only child of Colombian parents Carlos and Antonia Gonzalez. She attended catholic schools most of her life and she grew to have a very strong faith in her religion.
At the early age of 8 she began her 'Dear Diary' journals and has 36 volumes to this day; she also wrote a lot of poetry. Her parents knew that writing was going to be her calling. In the 8th grade she won a 'Best' essay award where 15 other schools had entered. She won an award, $500.00, and they gave her a ceremony. This was the beginning of her career as a talented writer. When she wasn't found with her nose in a book; you can see her chilling with her skateboarding friends from her hometown, Weehawken NJ. By the time she was a senior she had read over 1,000 books. She is a speed reader by nature and loves reading.
Olga fell in love and married her soul-mate Raul Ramos. Years go by, and her new family now includes four beautiful children, three boys and one girl.
She was working in the New York Stock Exchange when her modeling career began and she had just turned 30!!!!!!! The age where most models are far into retirement from the fashion industry. It was her husband that kept pushing her to get involved in modeling. Sadly enough her father became ill, fell into a coma and passed away peacefully; but he never saw her modeling. He would have been her biggest fan. He is her 'Hero' and mentor, the best father a daughter could ask for.
Olga came out of her shell and wants the world to comprehend that Beauty comes in all sizes from skinny girls to fat girls. Size acceptance is not on the 'Must-Do' list of society but with her vision and marketing skills she made a market for herself, that just didn't exist. She is the biggest Hispanic plus size model that gets 'PRINT' work, that is used for fashion.
The constant emails she received every day from fans, supporters and many plus size women asking her to return gave her the motivation to make this happen, again.
Although Olga is highly in demand, she is always open to new projects. No job is too big or too small. Contact Olga today. You won't regret it.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hugs and Kisses
